Defender Jeff Schlupp has signed a four-year contract which keeps him at Leicester City until 2019.

The 22-year-old Ghana international only signed a three-year deal in 2014 and has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Aston Villa this summer.

Schlupp, who can also play in midfield, played 32 Premier League games last term to help the club avoid relegation.

He joined the Foxes as an 11-year-old and had a short trial with Manchester United in January 2013.
