Billy Waters: Former Crewe striker joins Cheltenham Town
National League side Cheltenham Town have signed striker Billy Waters on a one-year contract following his release by Crewe Alexandra in May.
The 20-year-old Crewe academy graduate made 30 appearances for the League One club, scoring three goals.
"He's got the potential to score 15 or 20 goals a season," manager Gary Johnson told the club's website.
"He already makes that many goals - and he needs to play a full season and I gave him that opportunity."
Waters is Cheltenham's seventh summer signing, following deals for Jack Munns, Aaron Downes, Kyle Storer, Harry Pell, Amari Morgan-Smith and Jack Barthram.
