Queens Park Rangers manager Chris Ramsey has added Steve Gallen to his first-team coaching staff.
The 41-year-old, who has worked in the west London club's academy since 1997, has been appointed as first-team coach.
"Steve understands the fabric of the club and what we are trying to do here," director of football Les Ferdinand told the club website.
"The fact he's worked with a number of our younger players, who we are keen to see progress, is a bonus."
Gallen's previous role, with QPR's development squad, will be taken over by Paul Hall.
Meanwhile Kevin Hitchcock has left his role as goalkeeping coach at Loftus Road after turning down a new contract offer.
