Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur has committed his future to the Premier League club by signing a new three-year deal.
The 27-year-old Scotland international made 32 league appearances last season after joining from Wigan Athletic.
"Because of the quality that he brings and the attitude that he has, it was important to offer him this new deal," said Palace boss Alan Pardew.
"I've been a fan of his for a long time."
McArthur joined Wigan from Hamilton Academical for £500,000 in 2010 and won the FA Cup with the Latics in 2013, although they were relegated to the Championship the same season.
He made 129 league appearances for Wigan, scoring 11 goals.
Palace finished 10th in the Premier League last season.
They start the 2015-16 campaign at newly promoted Norwich City on 8 August.
