England striker Lianne Sanderson has left Arsenal Ladies, eight months after returning for a second spell.

The 27-year-old had played six games this season for Pedro Martinez Losa's side, who are second in Women's Super League One.

She was a member of England's World Cup squad in Canada, making two appearances as the Lionesses finished third.

Sanderson won five league titles and four FA Women's Cups with Arsenal before joining Chelsea in 2008.

After spells with Boston Breakers, DC United Women and Philadelphia Independence in the United States, she re-signed for Arsenal in November 2014.
