Truro City manager Steve Tully says he is still keen to add to his squad.

The White Tigers have already agreed terms with all 14 of last season's squad who were offered terms as well as bringing in former Torquay duo Martin Rice and Aaron Dawson.

"You're always looking to improve the squad, we're no different and if the right players come along we'll definitely snap them up," Tully said.

"But it's got to be right for us, as a club and as a squad," he added.

Truro began their pre-season campaign with a 5-1 win over South West Peninsula League side Witheridge, with Matt Wright scoring twice.

"At the moment we've got a really good squad," Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"We've got the basis of last season's squad and have been lucky enough to add Martin Rice and Aaron Dawson to that squad already and we'd like to bring a couple more in," he added.
