Joe Malin denied Alloa's Geoff Mitchell and Colin Hamilton.
Mitchell broke the deadlock early in the second half, breaking clear before firing home a left-foot shot into the net.
And Alloa goalkeeper Davie Crawford pulled off great saves to deny Steven Mackay and Zander Sutherland.
