Charlton Athletic have signed Algeria international Ahmed Kashi from French club Metz for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year contract with the Championship club.
Kashi joined Metz from LB Chateauroux in 2012 and scored one goal in 86 outings during his time at the club.
He was included in Algeria's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in January, and made his international debut in their group match against Senegal.
Kashi is Charlton's fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Patrick Bauer, El Hadji Ba and Simon Makienok at The Valley.
