East Fife beat Dumbarton 4-3 on penalties to knock the Championship side out of the Scottish League Cup.
Gary Naysmith's League Two outfit went ahead after the break as Nathan Austin picked up a long ball and slotted past goalkeeper Mark Brown.
Kevin Cawley headed home the equaliser after goalkeeper Ryan Goodfellow saved from Calum Waters.
Cawley had a goal disallowed in extra-time following a foul on Goodfellow and missed one of Sons' penalties.
