Craig Malcolm's double secured Stranraer a victory over Stenhousemuir in the first round of the Scottish League Cup.
Kieran Millar went close to opening the scoring for the visitors as he forced Conor Brennan into a fine save.
But Stranraer took an early lead when winger Andy Stirling's cross was headed home by Malcolm.
The Blues booked their place in the second round when Malcolm fired into the bottom corner in stoppage time.
