Levi Ives: Bristol City to sign Torquay United defender

Ives was part of Northern Ireland's victorious squad in the Milk Cup

Bristol City are set to sign teenage defender Levi Ives from Torquay United, reports BBC Points West.

Left-back Ives made 20 appearances for Torquay last season and is a Northern Ireland Under-19 international.

Ives, who came though the club's academy, made his first-team debut last season and was part of Northern Ireland's victorious Milk Cup squad.

When the deal is completed, the 17-year-old is set to join Championship club City's Under-21 squad.
