Wycombe Wanderers sign ex-Watford midfielder Luke O'Nien

Luke O'Nien scored in Wycombe's 3-1 pre-season win against Wealdstone earlier this month

Wycombe Wanderers have signed former Watford midfielder Luke O'Nien on an initial one-year deal following a trial period at the club.

The 20-year-old was released by the Hornets in May, having spent last term on loan at non-league Wealdstone.

He can also play at right back, and is Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth's seventh summer signing.

"I'm looking forward to working with him to unlock more of his potential," Ainsworth told the club website.
