Truro City manager Steve Tully wants his side to have good runs in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy this season.
The club, which won the 2007 FA Vase, has never reached the first round of the FA Cup, and only once made that stage of the FA Trophy.
"I think Truro deserve to have a good FA Cup run and FA Trophy run, if we can do that it will be a successful season," Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.
Truro are back in National League South after winning promotion last season.
City's best showing in the FA Cup was a place in the third qualifying round in 2009 and 2011, while they reached the first round of the FA Trophy in 2009.
Tully has re-signed most of last season's squad, as well as adding three players thanks to his ties with former club Exeter City, goalkeeper Martin Rice and defenders Aaron Dawson and Connor Riley-Lowe.
"At the moment, I'm not really sure how we're going to pan out this season," Tully added.
"I want us to push on, but I think if we're mid-table and we're safe and we have a good cup run I'll be happy."
