Exeter City upset Swindon to progress to the second round of the League Cup for just the second time in 22 years.
Alex Nicholls gave the League Two side the lead as he impressively finished after Jamie McAllister's ball in.
Four minutes later Nicholls turned provider as his shot was parried by Lawrence Vigouroux and David Wheeler tapped in from close range.
Swindon piled on the pressure after the break and Jon Obika pulled one back but Town could not find a second.
