On-loan Oxford United defender George Baldock says he is targeting a full season in the starting line-up for the first time in his professional career.
The 22-year-old spent around two months with the League Two club towards the end of last season and signed a new two-year deal with MK Dons in June.
"Nothing's going to top playing hopefully 46 games and gaining promotion," he told BBC Radio Oxford.
"I've had quite a few appearances but it's been 20 games in, 20 games out."
Baldock's most productive season came when he made 46 appearances in all competitions for parent club MK Dons during the 2013-14 campaign, although half of those came as a substitute.
"When I signed my new contract, one of the unwritten clauses was for me to go on loan because I knew how important this year could be," added Baldock.
"I've played quite a few games for my age and gained quite a bit of experience. I could have waited and perhaps got a League One club, but it's absolutely irrelevant to me at this point in my career."
