Morecambe: Shaun Miller and Jack Ryan join League Two club

Shaun Miller began his professional career at Crewe Alexandra

League Two club Morecambe have signed striker Shaun Miller on a one-year deal and teenage Preston North End forward Jack Ryan on loan.

Former Crewe and Sheffield United man Miller, 27, left Coventry City at the end of last season.

"He has a great pedigree - he certainly knows where the goal is," manager Jim Bentley told the club website.

Ryan, 19, has made two substitute appearances for Preston and will stay with the Shrimps for three months.
