Rochdale continued their winning start to the season as second-half goals from Donal McDermott and Ian Henderson gave them victory at winless Blackpool.
McDermott opened the scoring with his second Dale goal, beating the offside trap before firing in from 15 yards.
An unmarked Mark Cullen headed wide 10 minutes from the end, with arguably Blackpool's best chance of a leveller.
Henderson wrapped up the win late on after racing on to a backwards header from Blackpool's Lloyd Jones.
Rochdale manager Keith Hill told BBC Radio Manchester:
"We don't look to deeply into historical facts. We're a reasonably happy squad, we're confident obviously with respect to the last two results that we've had this week.
"I though it was a very professional performance we stuck to a very similar side for as long as we possibly could, but, I think we picked up one or two niggles."
