Dagenham & Redbridge 1-3 Leyton Orient

Leyton Orient maintained their 100% record in League Two with a derby win at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Paul McCallum headed the O's ahead for his second league goal in two games.

The visitors were then awarded a penalty after Clevid Dikamona was ruled to have handled in the box, and Lloyd James fired home to double the lead.

Dean Cox's 25-yard free-kick found the top corner which made the points safe for the visitors before a late Jamie Cureton consolation for the hosts.

Orient are now one of five teams to win both games in League Two while the Daggers are among four teams at the foot of the table yet to pick up a point.

Dagenham & Redbridge boss Wayne Burnett told BBC London 94.9:

"It was offside, we've seen it, we got the beauty of seeing it but what can you do?

"I don't like to criticise referees or linesman but they've got it wrong today. Would we have won the game? Probably not but it hasn't helped.

"We have to get it right and we have to get it right quickly."

Leyton Orient boss Ian Hendon told BBC London 94.9:

"I've said to the boys that they have started the season well - it's a good performance and we look forward to Tuesday night now. It's a quick turnaround and we've got to try and perform the same again when we play Stevenage on Tuesday.

"There could have been more goals, I always look on the critical side of things.

"Alex Cisak has made a couple of good saves early in the second half. It wasn't an easy game by any stretch.

"We like clean sheets, defenders like keeping clean sheets as does the goalkeeper so being a defender at heart myself, we pride ourselves on setting up not to concede goals so that was the only disappointing part of the game today really."
