Newport County striker Lenell John-Lewis is expected to be out for a month with a hamstring injury.

John-Lewis was injured in Saturday's 3-0 opening day League Two defeat at Cambridge United.

Kevin Feely and Yan Klukowski will also miss Tuesday's Capital One Cup round one match at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Newport manager Terry Butcher says he will field several youngsters at Molineux and will now look to make loan signings to bolster the squad.

''Its a great fixture," said Butcher of the trip to their Championship opponents, who beat Blackburn away on Saturday.

"Nothing is expected of us, everybody will be tipping Wolves as a home banker but there have been quite a few upsets in recent years when it comes to the early rounds in this competition.

''We are hopeful we can, not so much cause an upset, but give a good account of ourselves and let my players enjoy it."

Butcher will also be without on-loan defender Aaron Hayden against Wolves, who is ineligible to face his parent club. Nathan Ralph (hamstring) and Andrew Hughes (knee) are also sidelined.
