Nick Anderton: Aldershot sign Preston North End defender

National League side Aldershot Town have signed Preston North End defender Nick Anderton on a 28-day loan deal.
The 19-year-old left-back, who has yet to make his debut for the Lilywhites, has previously had loan spells at Chorley, Gateshead and Barrow.
"With Sean McGinty injured, we felt that we needed a bit more defensive cover," said Shots boss Barry Smith.
"Nick is a player who [player-assistant manager] Chris Barker knows and he will slot in if called upon."
