Ben Close: Portsmouth midfielder signs contract extension

Portsmouth midfielder Ben Close has signed a one-year contract extension at the League Two club.
The 19-year-old's current deal at Fratton Park had been due to expire at the end of this season.
Having come through the ranks, Close has made 10 senior appearances following his debut last season.
His most recent appearance came in Pompey's 2-1 win at home against Championship side Derby County in the League Cup first round on Wednesday.
