Bristol Rovers have signed goalkeeper Aaron Chapman from League One side Chesterfield on a one-month loan deal.

Chapman has made one appearance for the Spireites since signing from non-league club Belper Town in May 2013.

The 25-year-old had a loan spell with Accrington Stanley in League Two last season, featuring in three games.

"Aaron is a highly rated young keeper and I am pleased to be able to welcome him to the club," Rovers manager Darrell Clarke told the club's website.external-link

"With Kieran Preston and Will Puddy both out injured at the moment it was important that we added another goalkeeper to our squad."
