Barcelona boss Luis Enrique says his side can produce an unlikely comeback against Athletic Bilbao in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup on Monday.

The La Liga champions trail Copa del Rey runners-up Athletic 4-0 after a disastrous first leg last Friday.

"We know it's a challenge, but I think we've a team who can do it," said Enrique.

"If we get things right, I am sure we can turn things around. Everyone knows Barcelona is capable of anything."

Enrique plans to field his strongest possible side including Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez even though they start the defence of their league title next weekend.

Barcelona's first La Liga match of the season is away to Monday's opponents on 23 August.

The last time Bilbao won the Spanish Super Cup was 1984.

Despite being favourites to lift the trophy, Athletic coach Ernesto Valverde insists the tie is not over yet.

"It was a magical night in San Mames," he said.

"Let's see if we can complete it on Monday. We still have a lot of work ahead."
