West Ham have failed in their bid to get the red card shown to goalkeeper Adrian in Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Leicester overturned.
An appeal from the Hammers was rejected by the Football Association and Adrian will now serve a three-match ban.
The Spaniard, 28, was sent off for a challenge on Leicester forward Jamie Vardy after going upfield for an injury-time corner.
He will miss league games against Bournemouth, Liverpool and Newcastle.
