Dave Robertson: Peterborough United require winning mentality
Peterborough boss Dave Robertson says his side need to get a "winning mentality" after losing three of their opening four League One games.
Posh lost 2-1 at Burton on Saturday, having Gabriel Zakuani sent off.
"Even at 0-0 what I was saying to them, and have spoken to them at quite some length, that they have to find that inner motivation, that drive and that winning mentality," said Robertson.
"They can't spark into action after 60 minutes."
He added to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "That's something we'll be addressing. They are a good group of players, they have got quality, but what we are missing is the winning mentality."
The Brewers went 2-0 ahead, before Marcus Maddison pulled one pack from 30 yards on 67 minutes and in injury-time Posh midfielder Jermaine Anderson controversially had a goal ruled out for a foul in the build up.
And Robertson believes the goal should have stood.
He said: "I went in to see the referee and asked him what decision he'd made.
"He said that someone tried to pull back Adkins and as you can clearly see from the video there's no contact there whatsoever. The ball comes back off the post and Jermaine strikes it magnificently.
"From my opinion, what I've seen, there's definitely no contact."
