Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has appeared to end speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.

The 27-year-old France international tweeted a picture of himself in the dressing room at the Bernabeu along with the message: "This is my home!"

He addressed his tweetexternal-link to "all those clowns" who have claimed he would leave the Spanish club.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger used his programme notes for Monday's game against Liverpool to stress that he has several options up front.

Benzema, who is under contract until 2019, missed Real's opening La Liga game through injury but returned to training on Monday.

Despite having 27 shots, Real could only draw 0-0 at Sporting Gijon on Sunday in coach Rafael Benitez's first league game in charge.

The former Liverpool and Chelsea boss admitted afterwards that his side had lacked a cutting edge.

Benzema, who scored 22 goals in all competitions last season, is expected to return to action when Los Blancos host Real Betis at the Bernabeu on Saturday.
