National League side Southport have signed striker Andy Bishop, after he spent just two months at Halifax Town.
The 32-year-old started his career at Walsall and has spent time at Kidderminster, York, Bury and Wrexham.
He moved to the Shaymen in June after his release by the Dragons where he scored 10 goals in 42 appearances last season.
"We talked in the summer and now after four matches Andy is with us," boss Paul Carden told the club website.
Bishop is available for the Sandgrounders' trip to Barrow on Saturday.
