Mansfield drew 1-1 for the third game running as they held AFC Wimbledon.
The Dons took an early lead when Tom Elliott poked a low finish beyond veteran goalkeeper Brian Jensen.
Chris Clements levelled for the hosts in the 15th minute with a brilliantly taken 25-yard free-kick.
Elliott could have put Wimbledon back in front but headed wide from close range, before Dons substitute Lyle Taylor was sent off in stoppage time for catching Nicky Hunt with an elbow.
AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley told BBC London 94.9:
"I thought for twenty minutes we were very good and we looked a real threat.
"We lost our way half an hour into the game because of the man in the middle. There was so much frustration in the players, because they felt it was so one-sided, that we forgot to play for a bit.
"I did say to him at half-time that it looked like he was itching to send one of our players off and unfortunately I was proved right."
