Brighton have signed Dutch Under-21 international forward Elvis Manu from Feyenoord for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the Seagulls and will be available to manager Chris Hughton after the international break.
"We are really pleased to have brought in another offensive option," Hughton told the club website.
"Elvis is a different type of striker, and also a player who has also played in wide areas."
Last season Manu scored 14 goals in 37 games as he featured for Feyenoord in the Champions League, Europa League and Dutch Eredivisie.
"At 22 years of age, he is of a great age for further development, and he comes to us with a very good pedigree having come through the Feyenoord system," Hughton added.
Manu is the 11th new player to move to Albion since the end of last season.
