Newport County have extended the loan of Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Aaron Hayden until 10 October.
The 18-year-old arrived at the start of August on an initial one-month youth loan.
Hayden made an immediate debut for the League Two club in their opening game of the season against Cambridge.
"Aaron is happy here and I spoke to Wolves and they are happy for him to be here. It is another month and another progression," said boss Terry Butcher.
"He gives us great scope because he is quick and strong across the back.
"Aaron has done very well after a tough baptism at Cambridge. He has bided his time and pushed his way into the team against Plymouth last week and was very good against Swindon in the week."
