Grimsby Town 4-1 Aldershot Town

Two goals from Omar Bogle helped Grimsby defeat Aldershot.

Charlie Walker pounced on Luke Oliver's header to give the away side a surprise first-half lead.

Bogle levelled from the penalty spot after Richard Brodie fouled Toto Nsiala, before Padraig Amond found the corner to put the hosts ahead.

The home side's Bogle then missed a penalty but he netted his second before Nathan Arnold turned in the rebound from Bogle's shot to seal the win.

Grimsby Town manager Paul Hurst told BBC Radio Humberside:

"I think once we got in front, with the exception of maybe a three or four minute spell, we kept the ball well.

"At half-time it felt like groundhog day stood in front of the players and again it changes the atmosphere within the ground.

"Credit to the players they didn't go hiding. We started the second-half on the front foot and soon got ourselves back level and then just kicked on from there really and a deserved victory.

"There's no doubt we were the better team but when you go a goal behind suddenly the ball is bouncing around and they just sort of kicked the ball aimlessly."

Aldershot Town boss Barry Smith told BBC Surrey:

"In the second half we didn't deserve anything from the game because we lost concentration.

"I think if we're going to give penalties away for pulling shirts the referee will see four or five players are doing the same.

"To pick out one is a strong decision."
