Stirling Albion 1-0 Montrose

Stirling Albion survived a long battle with 10 men to narrowly beat Montrose in Scottish League Two.

Albion defender Ross McGeachie was dismissed shortly after the interval for denying Gary Fraser what was considered a goalscoring opportunity.

However, Chris Smith dived low to his left to save Ross McCord's penalty.

And Ross McMillan headed Ross Forsyth's cross powerfully into the net to seal victory for the hosts, who ended a run of 42 matches without a clean sheet.
