Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale says young defender Jordan Tillson has the chance to establish himself in the Grecians' line-up.
The 22-year-old has started seven of Exeter's last eight games after being given his chance in the League Cup win at Swindon Town last month.
"He hasn't let anyone down and he hasn't disappointed anybody," Tisdale told BBC Sport.
"At the moment he's got the shirt and it's his chance to keep it."
Aside from Exeter's 6-3 loss at Premier League Sunderland in the second round of the League Cup, the Grecians have kept three clean sheets and conceded just six goals when Tillson has featured.
