Charlie Walker scored twice to secure Aldershot's fourth win in five games with a 3-1 victory at Barrow.
Walker tapped home a long-range through-ball for the Shots, but Barrow's namesake Jason levelled from the penalty spot following a handball.
Charlie Walker's second of the game, and fifth in four matches, restored the visitors' advantage with a glancing header at the near post.
Cheye Alexander's rifled effort wrapped up the victory for Barry Smith's side.
Aldershot Town boss Barry Smith told BBC Surrey:
"We've come to a very difficult place today. I am very happy with the way we are progressing.
"We shaded the first half and in the second half Dan Thomas didn't have a save to make.
"The boys worked so hard to go and press their players when they were on the ball and we just keep asking them to do that. We don't want to stand still - we want to to keep progressing so we become a better team."
