Mustafa Tiryaki: Boreham Wood sign ex-Tranmere Rovers striker

Tiryaki trained with Luton last summer but was not offered a deal

Boreham Wood have signed former Tranmere striker Mustafa Tiryaki.

Tiryaki, 28, trained with Luton during pre-season while a free agent but has now signed a deal with The Wood.

The Turkish striker faced Boreham Wood for Luton in a friendly in July, in which he impressed the National League side's boss Ian Allison.

"Mustafa is big, strong and runs the channels well, he also gives me options to play him either as a lone striker or in a two," Allison said.
