Danny Rowe's first-half double helped Macclesfield to a 3-0 victory over 10-man Aldershot in the National League.
The visitors took the lead inside three minutes as Rowe fired home to score his first goal of the season.
Rowe doubled the Silkmen's lead before the break, beating two men before slotting home from a tight angle.
Kristian Dennis sealed the three points, latching onto a pass from Danny Whitaker, after Jake Gallagher had been sent off for a tackle on Rowe.
Aldershot Town boss Barry Smith told BBC Surrey:
"That was a poor performance today, one that I didn't see coming.
"We have got a young team but too many of them had off days, it wasn't just one or two of them - there were too many and we weren't close to the quality of performance that they've been showing.
"I don't want to take anything from Macclesfield because they did extremely well, but if I am going to look at my players, I think we could do a lot better."
