Barrow 1-1 Kidderminster Harriers

Kidderminster Harriers keeper Alex Palmer saved two second-half penalties to earn his side a point at Barrow.

Reece Styche scored his fourth goal of the season to give the visitors an early lead with a cool finish into the bottom corner.

Andy Cook got Barrow back on level terms six minutes into the second half with his eighth goal of the season.

But Palmer proved the difference in the end as he then saved spot-kicks from both Cook and Ashley Grimes.

He saved the first with his foot in the 62nd minute after Cook had been fouled by Jared Hodgkiss.

Palmer then did the same after Anthony Wilson had been brought down by Jordan Tunnicliffe to earn the winless, managerless Harriers only their sixth point in 13 games.

Kidderminster Harriers football development director Colin Gordon told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"These lads are frail. The average age must be the lowest in the league. They don't have the mentalities that some teams have.

"In the first 45 minutes, we were delighted with how we played. There was a desire to get on the ball and we kept to the shape that we've worked to. But then the same old frailties materialise.

"But we're not going to give up on them. It was 30 minutes at Bromley and 45 here so we're doing it step by step, and I think everybody can see what we are trying to do."
