Plymouth Argyle defender Carl McHugh could face a lengthy spell out after injuring his hamstring.
The 22-year-old former Bradford City defender was hurt early in the second half of Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Bristol Rovers in League Two.
"It's a bad one, it looks like he could be out for a wee while," Argyle manager Derek Adams told BBC Radio Devon.
"When he went up for the ball he pulled his hamstring, so we'll see this week what the diagnosis is."
Adams saw his side concede a penalty late in the match as they drew for the first time in the league this season.
"I think we lost two points, we had the win in our grasp, we had four minutes to go and we could have won the game," Adams added.
"But that's the nature of of the business when you're ahead and we should have managed it better."
