York City have appealed against Vadaine Oliver's red card at the weekend.
The 23-year-old forward was sent off in the 50th minute for an off-the-ball incident in the Minstermen's League Two game against Carlisle on Saturday.
York trailed 2-0 at the time at Bootham Crescent and fought back to draw 2-2, but manager Russ Wilcox thought they were unlucky to have Oliver dismissed.
"The referee has seen a red card, but looking at the DVD, there's not a lot to see," Wilcox told BBC Radio York.
"In every League Two match when there's a set piece or a delivery into the box there is some jostling."
Goals from Luke Summerfield and Josh Carson earned York a point to take them up to 16th, but Wilcox believes they should be higher in the table.
He added: "We're going well performance-wise but the frustrating thing is that we should be winning a few of the games that we are drawing so we need a bit more consistency."
