Boreham Wood have signed midfielder Clovis Kamdjo from National League rivals Forest Green Rovers on an initial 93-day loan deal.

The 24-year-old ex-Barnet and Salisbury man joined Rovers in the summer of 2014 and played 35 times last season.

But, after just four substitute appearances this term, he has been allowed to leave the league leaders.

"I know he will be a big signing for us," Wood boss Ian Allinson told the club website.

"He has power, strength and a tactical nous to sense danger and be a presence in both boxes.

"We desperately need that at the moment and I'm very thankful to our chairman and to the Forest Green management for getting the deal done with the minimum of fuss."
