Daniel O’Shaughnessy: Brentford defender joins Braintree Town

Daniel O'Shaughnessy has dual nationality with Finland and the Republic of Ireland

Brentford defender Daniel O'Shaughnessy has joined National League side Braintree Town on a one-month loan.

The Finland Under-21 international centre-back joined the Bees last summer on a two-year contract after leaving French side FC Metz.

The 21-year-old has yet to feature for the Championship side's first team, but has made 28 appearances for the development squad.

He is available to make his Braintree debut against Woking on Tuesday.
