Real Sociedad earned a first win of the season at Granada to ease the pressure on under-fire boss David Moyes.
Reports had suggested former Manchester United manager Moyes, 52, could be sacked if Sociedad failed to win against either Granada or in Sunday's Basque derby against Athletic Bilbao.
Sociedad had previously failed to win in four La Liga matches this season.
Spanish striker Imanol Agirretxe scored a hat-trick, moving Sociedad up to 10th place in Spain's top division.
