Zlatan Ibrahimovic celebrates scoring a penalty for Paris St-Germain
Paris St-Germain is the sixth club of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's career

Zlatan Ibrahimovic became Paris St-Germain's record scorer as his two penalties gave the Ligue 1 leaders victory over rivals Marseille.

He struck twice in three minutes just before half-time to take his PSG tally to 110, beating Pauleta's record.

Marseille, who led through Michy Batshuayi's 30th-minute header, missed the chance to equalise when Kevin Trapp saved Abdelaziz Barrada's penalty.

Victory extended PSG's lead at the top of the table to five points.

They are unbeaten in nine league games this season, while Marseille are fifth from bottom.

Sweden international Ibrahimovic, who turned 34 on Saturday, has only been at PSG since July 2012.

Marseille had not won in Paris since 2010 and had not scored at the Parc des Princes since Andre Ayew, now at Swansea City, found the net in April 2011.

However, they started positively and were rewarded when Batshuayi headed home his sixth goal of the season.

Ibrahimovic was denied by Steve Mandanda before he was fouled by the Marseille goalkeeper for his first penalty.

His second penalty - awarded after Rolando handled his header - had to be re-taken following encroachment in the box, but Ibrahimovic held his nerve again to give PSG their eighth successive win over their old rivals.

Caen beat St-Etienne 3-0 to move up to third, while Rennes drew 1-1 at Monaco to go fourth. Lorient beat Bordeaux 3-2.
