Fiorentina beat Atalanta to secure their fifth successive win and go back above Inter Milan to lead Serie A.
Josip Ilicic put Fiorentina ahead with a sixth-minute penalty before Borja Valero's close-range finish made it 2-0 at half-time.
Joan Verdu added a late third for the side managed by ex-QPR, Swansea and Leicester boss Paulo Sousa, who are yet to concede a goal at home this season.
Inter were held 1-1 at Sampdoria as they again dropped points.
Roberto Mancini's side was beaten 4-1 by Fiorentina in their previous game and went behind to Sampdoria when Luis Muriel fired home in the 51st-minute.

AC Milan crashed to a 4-0 defeat to Napoli as their unbeaten home record was emphatically ended, with Lorenzo Insigne scoring twice.
Roma won 4-2 at Palermo, while struggling Empoli had Piotr Zielinski sent off but beat Sassuolo 1-0 thanks to late goal from veteran former Middlesbrough striker Massimo Maccarone.
Udinese and Genoa drew 1-1.
