Alex Gilliead
Alex Gilliead's goal was his first in professional football

Carlisle United moved into the League Two play-off places after teenage winger Alex Gilliead spearheaded a 1-0 win over Exeter City.

The Newcastle United loanee, 19, troubled the Exeter defence for much of the match before scoring a late winner.

He set up Charlie Wyke in the first half while Arron Davies went close for the visitors before the break.

England Under-20 international Gilliead slotted home from 12 yards after Derek Asamoah's pass to win it.
