York City 2-2 Dagenham & Redbridge

Michael Coulson curled in from 20 yards to rescue York a point against fellow strugglers Dagenham & Redbridge.

York took the lead through Vadaine Oliver's tap-in but the visitors equalised when Ashley Hemmings fired inside Scott Flinders' near post.

Jamie Cureton then put the Daggers in front, poking in an eight-yard effort before Coulson found the bottom corner.

Both teams are now without a win in eight league games, with Dagenham only out of the bottom two on goals scored.

York manager Russ Wilcox told BBC Radio York:

"That's six goals at home in the last three games, and three goals for Michael Coulson in four games, so positive-wise, coming back from 2-1 showed great character.

"Massive credit to the players tonight. They know what's happening. They know what's going off.

"It's difficult to hide in those situations but I was so proud of them tonight.

"At 2-1 down, they could have buckled, but no, they rolled their sleeves up, 2-2, could have won it in the end."

Dagenham assistant boss Warren Hackett told BBC Radio London:

"We showed great resilience and character to come back from 1-0 down, but to go 2-1 up and down to the last 15 minutes again.

"Is it bad luck? Is it lack of concentration? It's got to stop happening.

"I thought we played some fantastic football, but we've got to learn how to secure leads - 2-1 up, we've got to shut up shop and we've got to stop goals from going in."
