Goalkeeper Brian Jensen produced an inspired display as Mansfield battled to a goalless draw away to Portsmouth.
The 40-year-old made a string of fine saves as the Stags extended Pompey's winless home run to four matches.
The pick of his saves came when Pompey defender Ben Davies let fly from the left edge of the penalty area but Jensen somehow clawed the ball behind.
Portsmouth dominated the majority of the contest but could not make that tell against a stubborn Stags defence.
Portsmouth manager Paul Cook speaks to BBC Radio Solent:
"I was really pleased with us today, I thought the shape of our team was excellent, the structure was excellent but we just lacked that penetration.
"I thought the first 15 minutes was as good as we've started a game, but unfortunately we didn't get that first goal.
"Mansfield are a good side, they've got good players, and today we've limited them to what I think was no attempts on goal in the second half.
"If we'd have won 1-0, what does it change? Not a lot. We'd have another couple of points, we'd be a bit higher in the league, everyone's happier than they are. We've got a really good club and everyone should just be patient and be stronger."
