MK Dons midfielder Darren Potter has signed a new contract to keep him at the club until 2017, with the option of another 12 months.
The 30-year-old ex-Republic of Ireland international has made 189 appearances for the Dons since joining in 2011 after leaving Sheffield Wednesday.
Potter helped the Dons reach the Championship for the first time in the club's history last season.
He has played five times in 2015-16 as he recovers from a knee injury.
"This is my fifth season at the club and I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it," said Potter. "I'm settled and I'm really pleased to be staying.
"Getting to where we are now is something we've been working hard for over the years, now we need to stay at this level and push on."
