Ronnie Moore encouraged by Hartlepool United display
Hartlepool United are creating enough chances to suggest they can end their seven game winless home run, says manager Ronnie Moore.
Pools were denied all three points when John Akinde equalised to cancel out Rhys Oates' early opener at Victoria Park on Tuesday night.
The last home victory came against Newport County on 18 August.
"I said to them - 'no sad faces', we did well but they're all sat in there doom and gloom," Moore told BBC Tees.
"Getting in there and creating chances is the big thing. We've had good chances, we've done better than we have in the past but we still want to get that home win.
"It will lift the pressure on not having won here for quite a while."
The draw means Hartlepool have taken four points from their last two games, although captain Billy Paynter had a chance to make it back-to-back successes but missed from a good position.
"He puts them away for fun in training," Moore added.
"I thought the keeper had saved it, I didn't realise he'd put it past the post."
