Gunn struck after six minutes with a right-footed finish.
He twice was denied by the woodwork after the break, shots coming off the post and crossbar.
Substitute Connor McLaren also hit the bar, diverted by a fine Allan Fleming save, but Cameron's header made sure of the three points late on.
